Local reception knowledge
Most Maidenhead aerials point at Crystal Palace for every Freeview channel and London news. Some homes, particularly on the western and northern edges around Cookham and Pinkneys Green, can also receive Hannington or Oxford, which carry BBC South and ITV Meridian news instead.
The Thames valley itself can be the problem. Homes down by the river at Bray, Boulter’s Lock and Cookham sit low, with trees and rising ground between them and the transmitter, so they often need a better aerial or a taller mast than houses up in Furze Platt or Woodlands Park.
Maidenhead’s town centre is changing quickly, with new apartment blocks near the station. When a new-build flat has no picture or only some channels, the fault is usually in the shared system rather than the TV, and we fault-find those for residents and managing agents.

Loose fixings and water in the connectors.
We secure the aerial and replace damaged cable so it holds up.
Maidenhead & the surrounding area
Furze Platt, Cox Green and Woodlands Park are full of family homes that want TV in the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms, often with a wall-mounted screen. We add extra points with a proper amplifier so every room gets a clean picture, and hide the cables when we mount the TV.
