Local reception knowledge
Leatherhead sits where the River Mole cuts through the North Downs. North of the town, most homes point at Crystal Palace for the full Freeview line-up and London news. Further south, towards Mickleham and Givons Grove, the Downs can block that signal, and Reigate can be the better choice.
Both transmitters carry every Freeview channel with BBC London news, so you don’t lose anything by using whichever is stronger. We test at your address and set the aerial for the most reliable picture.
Fetcham and Bookham are mostly family homes built from the 1930s onwards, with many of their original aerials still on the roof. After 30 or more years, corrosion and water in the cable are common, and a check of the whole system often brings the picture straight back.

We trace where the fault starts: the TV, the socket or the roof.

We check which transmitter suits your address, then retune.
Loose fixings and water in the connectors.
We secure the aerial and replace damaged cable so it holds up.
Leatherhead & the surrounding area
Leatherhead has town-centre flats, Victorian terraces, large houses on wooded roads such as Givons Grove and Tyrrells Wood, and the village estates of Fetcham and Bookham. Each has its own reception quirks, which is why we measure before recommending anything.
We cover Leatherhead and the surrounding villages across KT22, KT23 and RH5. Give us your full postcode when you call and we’ll confirm the visit.

It depends on where you are. North of the town Crystal Palace is usually best; further south, Reigate can be stronger. Both carry every Freeview channel, and we test both at your address.
Not always. Many old aerials still work once the cable and connectors are replaced. If the aerial itself is corroded or damaged, we’ll tell you and quote for a new one.
